The Needham Rotary Club is an outstanding organization committed to charitable activities that help our local Needham community, as well as international communities. Dan Tibma stays active in Rotary because he believes in the support and benefits the club has given to so many families through the years.

This year Dan kept busy flipping pancakes at the Rotary’s annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on November 5 at Needham High School. A yummy breakfast was awaiting all in attendance and included fun games for the kids. One popular game was the Potty Pitch, built by Tibma Design/Build’s project manager, Paul Doolen. Kids stand 10 feet away from the golden throne and see how many rolls of toilet paper they can sink into the target. It’s a hoot!

100% of the funds raised go back into the Rotary’s many projects, one of which is the Dictionary Project. Each fall they give dictionaries to all our 3rd graders in town. The books have lots of helpful reference information in back, in addition to the traditional word lookup. The teachers use them to teach the kids dictionary skills. Dan was on hand to deliver the dictionaries this year and to see the joy on the faces of the children as they held their own dictionaries in their hands.
